Water and Sediment Quality in the Yukon River Basin, Alaska, During Water Year Open-File Report Water-quality and sediment-quality data from samples collected on the Yukon River and selected in water and sediment chemistry and discharge in upcoming decades. As a first step in understanding. Users assume responsibility for errors in the river and stream discharge data, associated metadata [river names, gauge names, drainage areas, and geographic coordinates], and the annotations contained herein. No doubt errors and discrepancies remain in the metadata and discharge records.
Figure 1: Study Sites @ Kinta River catchment Data collections including suspended load, bed load, bed material and flow discharge have been carried out during the Study (Ibrahim , Darus , Abdul Ghaffar , Sinnakaudan ). A total of set of data have been obtained for the period from September until October The study sites include 33 stream and river reaches in Idaho (figure 1). All of the study sites, except Cat Spur Creek, are within the Snake River Basin. Cat Spur Creek, in the Panhandle National Forest of northern Idaho, is part of the Spokane River Basin. The headwaters of Cat Spur Creek abut the topographic divide that defines the.
The data presented in this website are collected and processed using standard USGS protocols and other established peer-reviewed methods, and subject to rigorous quality control. Nevertheless, minor edits of these data are possible. This report presents measured sediment transport data and an effective discharge anal-ysis for four USGS gage stations along the Trinity River between Rosser, TX and Crockett, TX. Measurements of channel cross-sectional properties, bed sediment grain-size distribution, sus-.

Sediment and hydraulic data obtained from October to September (water year ) at selected sites on the Susitna, Chulitna, Talkectna and Yentna Rivers are summarized. Sediment data include measurements of suspended sediment and bedload discharge.
Current data typically are recorded at to minute intervals, stored onsite, and then transmitted to USGS offices every 1 to 4 hours, depending on the data relay technique used. Recording and transmission times may be more frequent during critical events. This work has had led to: (1) improved understanding of how the flow and upstream sediment supply interact with channel geometry and bed-sediment grain size, (2) improved and new methods for accurately measuring sediment transport over long timescales, (3) improved methods for serving and visualizing river flow and sediment data on the web.
